Carbon Footprint
Everyone at Escape Expeditions is very much aware of the issues surrounding Carbon Emissions and the effects it has on our environment.
We are actively trying to reduce and manage our Carbon Footprint on a daily basis by not only using our vehicles when fully necessary but optimising passenger carrying capacity and only using diesel 4x4 vehicles instead of petrol.
We have also decided to limit air travel within the company and when flights are needed use direct routes only.
Travel is one of life’s great pleasures and the knowledge and understanding that travel gives a person should not be underestimated. Peoples desire to explore will not stop but the effects that travel has on our world can be managed.
Escape Expeditions prides itself on a proactive attitude and our ‘we can do that’ approach. We can make a small difference to our climate and from now on we are going to plant a tree in a privately owned wood just outside Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk for every single client that completes one of our tours.
